For Educators

Looking for ways to enhance your reading instruction?
TRI can help!

TRI Growth

Through professional development and online coaching, Targeted Reading Instruction (TRI) helps teachers refine their instructional practice as they work one-on-one with a beginning reader. Teachers adapt TRI activities to match the specific needs of each student, rapidly accelerating reading progress.

It is a resource that every teacher needs...I became more confident as a teacher and as a reading teacher. I went to school to get a reading specialist degree and when I graduated, I still didn't feel confident in the classroom. My favorite subject to teach was math not reading. I felt like a robot going through the motions. TRI has really helped me focus my small group and one-on-one reading instruction. It just gave me much more confidence and I knew I could teach children how to read.

TRI | Proven Tutoring
TRI is pleased to announce our partnership with ProvenTutoring.org. ProvenTutoring.org supports the use of evidence-based tutoring programs across the US. Recognizing the increased demand for tutoring in the current educational environment, we have adapted the TRI model to work within a tutoring framework. Teachers using TRI for tutoring function outside of the regular classroom, still implementing TRI one-on-one with students throughout the school day for a period of 8-10 weeks, but reaching a larger number of students. These TRI teachers work with four cohorts of 15 students, accelerating reading progress for 60 students across the school year.
